Background and Training

Hack Electrical was founded by Todd Hack.

Born and raised in New Orleans and a graduate of Jesuit High School and the University of New Orleans, Todd Hack is a licensed Louisiana Master Electrician with the Louisiana State Board of Contractors.

His fascination with electricty began at the age of 10. That summer he enrolled in a science camp and chose electronics and circuitry classes. He learned soldering and the components of circuit design. The final class project involved making an eye/hand coordination device. It would shock two of your left fingers if you allowed a wooden wand (held in your right hand ) with a conductive copper circular ring to touch a copper maze-like wire and complete the circuit.

Fast forward 8 years to 2005, Mr. Hack began working at Alterman Audio in Metarie near Lakeside Mall. There he performed low voltage wiring installations and wired audio-visual equiptment .

After working at Alterman Audio, Mr. Hack pivoted into learning how to wire residential homes and local schools. After work, he would study wiring schematics and read the National Electric Code to expand his base of knowledge

Now, he brings his high level electrical experience to clients homes and businesses to get the job done. And above all, his commitment to customer satisfaction is what drives him every day.
